Description
Borussia Dortmund special edition men's short-sleeved jersey in a sandstone-based design. It was created to celebrate the centenary of the Stadion Rote Erde, inaugurated in 1926 next to the current Signal Iduna Park and home to the first team between 1937 and 1974, a venue that holds much of the club's history.
The color palette is inspired by the stadium's architecture, and in this version, the tones are inverted: the base is sandstone, and all the details are black. Against the light background, the fabric features an embossed pattern that replicates the Marathon Gate, the most recognizable entrance to the Rote Erde (Red and White). The collar is ribbed with fine black lines running along it, a detail that alludes to the running track surrounding the pitch, and the cuffs have the same finish. The Puma cat logo appears on the right chest, and on the opposite side, the club's circular crest in a vintage style. The Vodafone sponsor logo is centered on the chest, and a metallic label is located at the bottom of the front.
